Woohoo ! It’s the final day of our Time to Create for the Graduates using Cricut Design Space. Today’s post is jam packed with ideas of How to DECORATE for your Grad’s Party ! If you have been following along you know we are have covered some fun things you can make using the Graduation Category images in Design Space. if you missed the other days of this series – Day 1: Cards, Day 2: Money Box, Day 3: Thank You Card Sets, Day 4: Custom Coasters, just click those links to see the post for more Celebrate the Graduate projects.
Lets jump right in… at the end of the post, I have the Design Space files for each of today’s projects if you want re-create them.
Lets start with something really fun…a Graduation Party Banner. I created a focal piece for the banner and then two side banner pieces. Depending on your space to hang the banner, you can add more banner pieces and make them all different if you want. All the projects were created using CTMH Cardstock (click link to purchase in my CTMH SHOP) because it cuts so nicely in the Cricut Explore AND you can get it in bulk color packs which is great for party decor so it all matches ! This is just the starting point to inspire you !
The images I used to create this Center Banner piece were: Banner #M3B3FB, Bird Graduate #M3C84D, We’re Proud Phrase #M42230, Good Luck Grad Phrase #M3D4FB
I then created (2) Happy Graduation Banner pieces #M2111F9 to use on either side of the Center Banner piece. Its looks really adorable all put together. I used curling ribbon to hang it.
A party would not be complete without table decorations..but how about some that do double duty ? CUSTOM PHOTO PROPS on sticks are perfect to add some punch to your party tables AND then you can use them for your guest to take photos with your graduate ! These are easy to make by cutting whatever shapes you want out of cardstock and then gluing them to small dowels. Everyone loves to use these to take photos and they are add a LOT of WOW value to your decor.
Now we have a banner and some table decor….so now how about some special Reese’s Graduation Cap Treats ? These were really fun to make….just some miniature Reese’s pieces and some grad caps cut out of cardstock #M458A2 added with a glue dot. They are so cute !
And last but not least…how about an adorable MINI GIFT BAG you can make yourself in a hurry. Use the gift bag box #M4754E in Graduation Category in Design Space and add a Print then Cut of the Hello Kitty Grad #M46270for some extra fun ! The bag cuts out on a 12X12 sheet of paper and would be perfect for small gifts or gift card. Or maybe even as a treat bag…might be fun to fill with the Reese’s Graduation Cap Treats, right ?
Well, what do you think ? Did any of the Graduation Projects the past 5 Days inspire you ? Leave me a comment and let me know what you enjoyed the most. You could customize any of these ideas using the graduates school colors or favorite colors and images. Coordinating the whole Grad Celebration using the same color scheme really pulls it all together. Your grad will never forget the special details you created for them.
Below I have provided the links to all the Design Space Files I created for each of these shown today. You will need to own or purchase the images to use the files. They are all sized to fit on 12X12 paper. Happy Graduation to all you with Graduations !
