CTMH Artfully Sent: Sentiment Cards

The CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge has some wonderful intricate cards that go together easily and make you look like a card pro !  If you haven’t purchased this cartridge yet, I think you will fall in love with it when you see more projects made with it so I am going to showcase the 5 Styles, 1 style each day for 5 days.  In honor of October, I made them all Halloween cards for added fun. These are from pg 43 in the handbook.

CTMH ARTFULLY SENT: SENTIMENT CARDS 

There are 2 Sentiment Card Types – The Sentiment Card and the Border Card. I used the CTMH Scaredy Cat Paper Pack to make all the Halloween Cards in my series.

This is the Sentiment Card.  These cards have a sentiment phrase cut out on the front of the card in a variety of topics. It is best if you cut these at 5″ X 7″ card size as they were designed. It was fun backing the cut-out with complimentary papers so the words stand out. Its fun to add some small embellishments such as these cute White Enamel Stars to the front of the card to finish it.

No card is finished without the inside being completed. I choose to use the adorable
Halloween Greetings Stamp Set with Black and Sunset Exclusive Ink.

This is a Sentiment Border Card. This card is made to accommodate a 4.25″ X 5.50″ card size.  There is a die cut shape border along the bottom or side of these card types.

For this Halloween Border card, I backed the cut out of the card in black cardstock and used a ShinHan Twin Marker in Marigold to outline the jack-o-lantern images.  I added a strip of Purple Glitter Paper for a bit of sparkle and used the Halloween Greetings Trick or Treat stamp set for the sentiment.   Note: This stamp set has shapes that coordinate with the Cricut Artiste cartridge. 

Below is what I did to finish the card on the inside.  I used two adorable Halloween stamp sets on the inside. The pumpkin is from Trick or Treat Sweets and the Happy Halloween is from Frightfully Fun stamp sets.

As you can see, these Sentiment cards are really nice and a great addition to your card skills. And super easy to make ! Stop by tomorrow for when I show you another style of the Artfully Sent Cards.
