I created today’s banner image to Thank those who have served our country to protect our freedom by using images in Cricut Design Space. I used the Design Space Patriotic Category to pull some appropriate images and then layered them to create an attractive layout. If you have not used the Category search in Design Space I highly recommend you try it. It is a quick way to see images in a certain category and pull images into your project. I find many images I would never have known to search for that way that have made a big impact on my final design project.
I used the Sync feature in Design Space to to coordinate all the various image imported colors to fit my desired color scheme. Example, instead of having 6 various colors of blue, I moved them to fit within two blue colors.
As you can see now, in the Mat Preview Window, it splits out the 4 colors I selected so those same colors fit on as few of mats as possible.
Now I can actually use this file I saved and cut it out of cardstock or vinyl. I hope you take a moment today, Memorial Day, and think of those that served our country to protect our freedom.
