Have you been wondering how to get clean stamped images on your die cut shapes? Trust me, I have tried all kinds of inks and papers trying to find the elusive answer to this.
MUST HAVES ARE:
- Smooth cardstock that doesnt bleed the ink when stamped
- Ink pads that are dye or pigment based that in beautiful colors
- Stamps that have sharp detailed images
- Acrylic blocks for acrylic stamps that you can easily hold to get good stamped image
And my solution.….purchase cardstock, stamps and inks from a company that specializes in quality products made just for stamping. That company is Close To My Heart. In fact, I believe in their products so much I became a Consultant for them…and the 22% off discount I get on everything I order sure helps my stamping addiction.
Here are some projects I recently made using Close to My Heart (CTMH) cardstock, inks and stamps. The stamped images were beautiful, crisp and clean. The cardstock held the ink well and did not bleed at all. Their dye inks come in beautiful colors that showed up great on the cardstock.
(sorry the photo is crooked but I already gave this card away so can’t retake it)
The CTMH Outdoor Denim Dye Ink is a gorgeous blue color and showed up great on the CTMH White Daisy Cardstock die cut sentiment shape. The the die cut shape was from the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge and a matching Artiste stamp set.
This scrapbook layout shows the CTMH Lagoon Dye Ink on the CTMH Cardstock in both Blush and White Daisy. Even on the Blush cardstock the lovely Lagoon Ink teal color showed up great. All the colored cardstock was from the CTMH Whimsy Cardstock set. The die cut shapes were from Art Booking Cricut Cartridge using matching stamp sets.
I have lots more projects using Close to My Heart products to show off. To purchase some of these products for your self, just click on the product photos or my CTMH Website link where you can order and have these shipped directly to you to create your own projects !
