Have you heard? There are some new Cricut Tools available to make working with your Cricut images easier. They are designed to be ergonomic (ie. easier on your hands to use them). And they are selling a set of end caps so you can have them match your favorite color scheme. 
Retail on the entire Tool Set is $24.99 at the Cricut.com website. Note it does not come with a case to hold the tools.
The retail on the Scraper and End Caps is $6.99 on the Cricut.com website. The only colors listed right now are Blue and Green but they may be offering the other set colors of orange, pink and purple soon.

I can’t see buying what I already have that still works just fine. I’d rather spend the money on paper. I’ve finally gotten over the fact that I NEED everything new Cricut.
