Do you ever use more than one type of die cut machine on a project? I got to thinking about this yesterday when I was working on a project. I did end up using two different machines and here are my reasons why:

1. I could not find the images I wanted on just one machine
2. One machine, the Silhouette Cameo is better at more intricate cuts I needed
3. Running two different machines (Cricut and Cameo) saves time

Here is the project I made using two different machines. It is a 1st Birthday Banner that will convert to a mini album after the party for a treasured keepsake. I used the Cricut Machine with my Gyspy to make and size the scalloped banner pieces. And the Baby Month Circles were cut on my Cameo and were designs by Lori Whitlock and purchased in the Silhouette Online Store HERE

Let me know your thoughts on using two or more die cut machines on same project. Have you done it before? Or is this something you are willing to try in the future?

  1. These are very nice Debbie. I hate my cricut and wish I had a different machine…I actually have tow so it’s hard to justify buying another but they really made me mad when they took away sure cuts a lots advantage.

  2. So cute, Debbie! I think it will make a cute banner, and an even more adorable mini-album. 🙂
