Valentine Gift Idea #6 is for you to make your own Custom Treat Toppers to add to treats bags. Perfect to make a little something special for Valentines Day for the kids to take to school or for your neighbors or co-workers. You can make your own treats and put in baggies OR you can even take pre-made store bought treats like I did. Some schools don’t allow you to take homemade treats so this is perfect for that OR if you are short on time.
So lets start. Select your treat. I found these super yummy little bags of Goldfish Graham Vanilla Cupcake Crackers. There are about 25 packs in a big bag so that was great for this project.
Next, Make your treat topper in Cricut Explore Design Space. Watch the video to see how I used the Print Then Cut Feature to create the custom topper.
After you get the Print then Cut done of your tags and off your Cricut mat, its time to quickly assemble. You will need: tape runner, a small stapler, the treats and the toppers you just created.
1. Adhere the name plate to the bag of your treat topper using a tape runner or glue stick. Tip: Make sure you position the name plate so that when you fold over your bag top it is in the right direction 🙂
2. Staple the completed topper to the top of your treat bags. And you are DONE !!!!
That’s it. Super easy, Super Cute and Super Fast ! Stay tuned for the final Valentine Gift Idea #7 tomorrow.
